Well, we haven't done much updating around here.
About time we start, no?
So here's the deal. Over the last long while, Sherwin Schwartzrock, Bud Rogers, and Ben Avery have been working very closely with Zondervan on their line of graphic novels. This was a real honor, a lot of fun, and a huge time commitment!
We're still not done. But we are on the home stretch.
In the meantime, we haven't had a chance to really do the things with Community Comics that we'd like to do. That's bad, in a way. Not much has happened with Community Comics.
But it's been good, in a way, because we've had a chance to sit back and look at the "state of things" as far as small press comic companies and producers go. And that has helped us fine tune our future plans.
Which leads me the the actual NEWS of this "news blog":
Webcomics.cc
What is Webcomics.cc? It's the new online comics project from Community Comics. Right now, we're running the director's cut of the Hero TV short story "The Mark". That will lead to us running Hero TV #0, and then Hero TV #1, 2, and 3. Our plan, after that, is to continue the Hero TV story.
Soon, though, we will begin posting some of our Biblical based comics.
And we will also be posting links to other Christian-based and/or family friendly webcomics that are updated on regular schedules. So we will be linking to things like
The Cardinal and
Cyberlight Comics to let you know when they have posted new material. Our goal is to be a service to creators and readers.
We're building from the ground floor up. So join us, please, as we start on this fun new journey.
